I’m an experienced politics and policy journalist, reporting on the forces that shape power in Britain today.
I entered political journalism as a lobby reporter for The New Statesman and then The Independent, covering the daily drama of Parliament, party strategy, and the shifting alliances behind the scenes.
I now focus on long-form features exploring politics, society and the fault lines of modern Britain — from institutional dysfunction to culture wars, generational divides and the future of the state. Alongside this, I write regular comment and analysis for The i Paper, The New World, The Lead UK and others.
I also serve part-time as Westminster Editor at The Lead UK, where I lead our political coverage and shape the political focus of our editorial agenda.
Below is a small selection of my work.
